Mevo provides electric/hybrid Audi vehicles which are all hired on-demand by the hour.
Simply sign up at mevo.co.nz and then download our app and you are all set to go.
Use the Mevo app to unlock the car and keep it for as long as you like.
Our hourly fee includes everything from insurance right through to electricity and fuel.
WHAT IS MEVO?
Mevo is Wellington’s electric car sharing company. Rather than residents or local businesses owning their own vehicles, Mevo provides a convenient substitute with quality electric vehicles.
Members simply open the Mevo app, select their favourite coloured Audi which is unlocked with their phone. Our pricing is upfront and easy to understand with no added extras. Just one hourly rate covers everything from the vehicle hire right through to insurance and electricity/fuel. It is the simplest way to get out and about in Wellington.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Mevo’s pricing is by the hour and includes everything from insurance right down to electricity fuel and gst.
$23 per hour. Starting from the time you unlock the vehicle $138 maximum fee per 24 hour hire
200km daily limit. Any km’s over this are charged at $0.25

WHERE ARE THE CARS?
Mevos are located onsite in the Liberty Apartment Hotel Carpark. Once a guest has downloaded the Mevo app, this will guide them step by step via Google Maps to the car (providing location services are turned on in your phone).
Additional Mevo sites are located at Queens Wharf and opening soon on Bolton Street.

900km. All Mevos are electric hybrids giving 50km range on pure electric and 850km on petrol hybrid mode,
HOW DO GUESTS SIGN UP? HOW DOES IT WORK?
Visit mevo.co.nz/hotel and register your name and email address. You will be redirected to the App store to download the Mevo App.
Upon opening the App please complete your details which includes a front and back photo of your NZ drivers licence and a credit card.
Once a guests details are submitted Mevo will approve the driver profile. Up until a driver profile is approved a guest will not be able to view or reserve any vehicles in the app.
How does it work?
Once a guests profile is approved they can select the closest Mevo within the Mevo app and reserve it 30 minutes in advance. When the guest arrives at the vehicle they simply tap unlock within the Mevo app. This unlocks the vehicle and begins billing.
Guests then unplug the charger and are free to start their journey. All vehicles have an instructional booklet inside detailing how to drive an electric vehicle. If they have any issues please direct them to use the chatbox within the Mevo app for an immediate response.
Can guests drop off at a different location?
No. Mevos are collected and dropped back to the same carpark.
